Christmas was a little early in Jacksonville since we were spending the weekend of Christmas this year in Iowa with Greg's side of the family. So my sister and husband came into town the night before Santa came and then we had a Grunik Christmas the next day.
We started off making Greg's mom's Green Pie, which Allison loved licking the bowl clean. You can tell how crunchy her hair still is when she opens her first presents of the season from Uncle Chad and Aunt Stephanie (or Sessy as she calls her).
Then she went to bed that night and we had talked all about Santa Claus alot to get her excited and to understand what it was all about. And sure enough he got the memo and came early to our house.
She was very excited to open her gifts from him.
